I actually have to write an essay on feminist theory pretty soon. Aside from the books in the previous picture, do you have any recommendations?

I don’t actually know, sorry! I’m fairly new to feminism myself and so these are the first actual books i’ve gotten around to reading. I have heard, though, that bell hooks (author of Feminist Theory and Feminism is for Everybody) is very very good and frequently reccomended, for her commentary on not only gender but also race, class and sexuality. i guess it depends on what exactly you’re writing about. 

now to stay up all night reading these and ignoring the fact that they’re technically for my extended essay shhhhh
